our gardening philosophy

Our aim is to operate as sustainably as possible using equipment and practices that fulfil your aesthetic and functional requirements while reducing environmental impacts and enhancing your local ecosystem.

Our equipment is fully electric, meaning there is no use of fosil fuels and they are much quieter. We make every effort to minimise the use of glyphosate based sprays. Greenwaste is either recycled on the property or transfered to compost production through Central Landscaping Avondale

LAWN MOWING

Regular lawn care includes mowing at season appropriate heights, seasonal feeding, weed management, and edge trimming.

HEDGE AND SHRUB TRIMMING

Keeping hedges and shrubs beautifully shaped and healthy. Generally done once every 3-4 months dependant on seasonal growth. Please note for health and safety trees and hedges over 2.5 metres requires an arborist.

SOIL HEALTH

The foundation of a healthy garden is healthy soil. Meaning that soil is rich with compost, minerals, micronutrients, and most importantly a diverse range of beneficial microbes, bacteria, and fungi.

Many gardens no longer have soil, they have dirt, dead inert matter that requires endless use of fertiliser and sprays to keep plants going. Your soil is a living web connecting to the roots of each plant and bringing in whatever each plant specifically needs to thrive.

The better your soil the less artificial inputs will be required, and the more resilient your plants will be. The good news is that dirt of any kind can be nursed back to healthy soil.
